On behalf of Wave of Grace we want to welcome you to our website. We are a new church plant in Naples, Florida. We feel God has called us as a Christian church to impact people, our local community and the world through personal life transformation, helping those in need and serving our community and world. We hope you will check us out. See what we are doing and where our focus is. It is our goal that you will experience the love of God, that you will be loved and find blessing through Christ as you serve Him with all your heart. We pray that you will discover the joy and hope that comes from an intimate relationship with Christ.

} Happenings

Wave of Grace is committed to small group ministry. We have a strong calling to create groups that have two purposes. The first are connection groups. These groups are designed for you to build relationship in a simple non-threatening environment. The second groups are grow groups and are designed to dig into God's Word, growing in their knowledge of the scriptures and being challenged to live daily as followers of Christ. Life groups are the heart of our ministry and are comfortable to the individual who knows nothing about God and yet will challenge and grow a mature Christian. You can sign up at church or by clicking on the Facebook tab and finding the event you want to attend. Join a life group today! Call or email the church office for more information.

Pastor Luke Schouten - lukes@waveofgracechurch.com

Pastor Luke has over 25 years of ministry experience. In 1982 he and his wife Chris began their journey serving as church volunteers within the high school ministry at the Bethany Reformed Church in Canton S.D. In 1985 Pastor Luke and Chris served full time for 1 year among the Mescalero Apache Native Americans in Mescalero, N.M. with the Mescalero Reformed Church. In 1990 Pastor Luke and Chris began fulltime ministry at the Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon, WI. There he served as Director of Youth Ministries for 10 years. In 2000 Pastor Luke and Chris moved to Oostburg, WI and served as the Associate Pastor for Gibbsville Reformed Church. In 2007 Pastor Luke received his ordination into the Reformed Church in America as Minister of Word and Sacrament. During his ministry at Gibbsville Pastor Luke ministered to the youth, college age and young single and marrieds within the church. In March of 2011 Pastor Luke and Chris felt a strong call to join the New Wave Network in church planting here in Naples, Florida. We are excited about what God will do.

Pastor Luke and Chris have been married since 1982. They have four children, Danielle, Hannah, Sam and Sandrina. Pastor Luke loves restoring old cars, playing golf, riding motorcycle, watching sports and eating with family and friends.

Danielle graduated from Kuyper College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a degree in Worship and Music Ministry. Danielle loves doing crafts, hanging out at the beach and singing. She is passionate about worship and bringing people into the presence of God through Music.

Wave of Grace places a high priority on serving because through serving Christians mature in their spiritual walk and bring health to their soul. We have opportunities in many areas of our new church start where you can serve. If you would like to volunteer for any of the service opportunities please contact us.

If you would like to grow deeper and learn more about Wave of Grace we will occasionally hold an information meeting. It's an excellent way to learn about our core values, our church structure and the Christian principles on which we are founded. The goal is for you to leave with a deeper understanding of what it means to be an active participant here at Wave of Grace. The gathering will be two hours in length and set up for a future time and date. You can attend this gathering and then come along-side us in a commitment to Wave of Grace, or you may take it as an inquirer to find out more information and then possibly join us at a later date.

} about us

Ephesians 2:8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—"

Just as a wave washes over the sand and erases all the imprints and blemishes that were there, so God’s grace washes away our imprints and blemishes (sin) through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is a gift that God has given to you. Salvation isn’t gain through works, it is a simply a gift. It is a gift from God for you to have.
